ABOUT KARDIA NINJAS
Kardia Ninjas is a brand new ninja gym facility in the west end of Brantford, Ontario. Founded in 2020 by Joel Smith (aka. The Ninja Guy) so others could join with him and his family’s passion of doing fitness the ninja way. We offer Open Gym times and Classes for ages 5+ for beginner through advanced fitness levels led by our certified personal trainers. We are a family-friendly gym facility where parents can exercise alongside their kids.

Kardia Ninjas gym facility was designed by The Obstacle Design Group, founded by an innovative, obstacle course creator and industry pioneer who was also a 4X American Ninja Warrior competitor! We offer state-of-the-art obstacles with 14.5 ft and 10ft warped walls, over 250 feet of obstacles, and much more!

Safety is Priority!
Safety is our #1 priority at Kardia Ninjas. Our entire obstacle area is covered in Carpet Bonded Foam Flooring, with 8’ column pads around all our truss columns, and then a minimum of 10” crash mats under each and every obstacle.

MEET THE OWNER
Hello, I’m Joel Smith.
aka. The Ninja Guy
I am 38 years old, have a beautiful wife, Jessica, and 4 incredible kids! I am also a Certified Personal Trainer. My wife and I have been to the filming of the TV show, American Ninja Warrior, 3 times! We have experienced 1st hand the incredible community and atmosphere of Ninjas – uplifting, encouraging, inspiring, helping each other overcome.
Our desire is to bring that sense of community to Brantford!
I am a fellow ‘Brantfordian’ through and through as I was born and raised in Brantford. My grandfather started ‘Harvey C. Smith Drugs’ on Colborne St. E. in 1953 (it was the first drug store in Echo Place!). My parents, Philip & Debra Smith bought the pharmacy in the early 1990’s where they changed the name to ‘Smith Drugs & Apothecary’.
Growing up, I worked with them in the family business and stayed full-time until they retired. Also, Jessica’s parents, Bruce and Wanda Mann, started up the first Circle Square Ranch in Brantford in 1985 and led that for 10 years. Both Jess and I worked and volunteered at Circle Square Ranch for many years.
In short, Brantford has been our home community for just about all of our lives!
…And we can’t wait to add a Ninja Gym to the city of Brantford!
